I am taking tylenol 3 and 2 with codeine because i have extreme artritisc in both knees. I take 2 tylenol 2 with codeine at one o'clock in aftrenoon and 2 tylenol 3 with codeine at bed time everyday.

my husband cant sleep when he takes tylenol 3. why? he has abad knee and needs knee replacement

Response to Codeine inhibiting sleep

Sometimes codeine actually hypes people up and prevents sleep. That is why it is so addictive, it can start to have an amphetamine affect.
