I took Zoloft a few years ago and it worked wonerfully, with no side-effects. I started taking it again about a month ago (25 mg a day), but I also take 2.5 mg of diazepam at night. For the past week or so, when I start falling asleep, I jerk awake, and though I am too sleepy to identify any real cause, it seems like I stopped breathing or something else strange happened, and a wave of panic runs through me, but immediately passes and I start to fall back asleep. Sometimes it only happens once or twice, but sometimes as many as 5 or 6 times before I fall completely asleep. What is going on?!?
looking for peoples' experiences with zoloft
I've found online pharmacies that sell "generic" zoloft - sertraline. Is it okay to use this generic version of Zoloft? Will it have the same effects? Obviously I want to save money, but there is conflicting information on the Internet about whether Zoloft has a generic. Any help would be appreciated...
I have just started taking Zoloft. I'm currently taking 100mg a day, and as you suggested, a generic brand would really help out my wallet. My doctor says there is NO generic version of Zoloft at this point, but there is supposed to be a Generic version coming this Summer (Summer 2006). Not sure what kind of price breaks will come of it, but anything is better than what I'm paying right now.
